Erling Haaland finished the 2025/26 season with the most Fantasy Premier League points for a second time as he pipped Bruno Fernandes to top spot.
Despite not featuring in two of Manchester City's final three Premier League fixtures, the Norwegian striker tallied 27 goals and eight assists to amass 239 points, the lowest top-scoring total since Chelsea's Eden Hazard scored 233 points during the 2014/15 season.
Fernandes finished the campaign four points shy of Haaland's total as he set a new Premier League record for most assists in a season, surpassing the previous bar of 20 set by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne as he registered his 21st assist on the final day against Brighton.
Eight goals and 21 assists contributed to 235 points, which is Fernandes' second best return in Fantasy Premier League after he clocked 244 points during his first full season at Manchester United, scoring 18 goals and registering 14 assists.
Haaland and Fernandes were two of only four players to surpass the 200-point mark in FPL this season alongside Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes and Manchester City's January recruit Antoine Semenyo.
Gabriel, aided by the additional points on offer for defensive contributions, registered 18 clean sheets, scored three vital goals and produced five assists as he became the third defender after Liverpool duo Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold to reach the landmark 200 points total.
Semenyo spent the first half of the season in prolific form for Bournemouth before earning a £62.5m move to Man City. 75 of his 202 points were accrued under Pep Guardiola, with Semenyo recording four double-digit hauls for Bournemouth under Andoni Iraola.
David Raya was the highest goalscoring goalkeeeper with 162 points, which placed him 20th overall.
Defensive contributions (DEFCON) was a new feature to FPL in 2025/26 and rewarded players with two extra points per match if they hit specific defensive thresholds. Defenders needed to accumulate a total of at least 10 clearances, blocks, interceptions and tackles to earn the additional points, while midfielders and forwards required a minimum of 12 defensive actions (including ball recoveries) to meet the criteria.
Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson was the king of DEFCON, making 515 defensive contributions across the campaign for the East Midlands outfit.
He was trailed by Everton's James Garner (458) and Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi (419), while Leeds United's Ethan Ampadu (416) was the only other player to eclipse 400 defensive contributions.
In terms of the bonus points system, Haaland topped the charts again with bonus points received, tallying 43 compared to Fernandes' 41.
United's talisman Fernandes did at least trump Haaland on the price rise metric. The Portuguese playmaker saw his value increase by £1.4m compared to the start of the season, compared to Haaland's £0.7m. Other players to see their value soar in excess of a £1m was Gabriel, Semenyo and Brentford striker Igor Thiago, who chalked up 22 goals for the Bees in a breakthrough campaign.
