Sebastien Haller tops the list as West Ham's most expensive signing, joining the club in 2019 for a €50.00m. The Ivorian centre forward struggled to get to grips with the league during his two year stay, scoring just 14 times in 54 games.

Many would argue that the club's €43.00m coup of Mohammed Kudus is the most impressive deal of the 10, with the Ghanaian attracting interest from clubs all over Europe, but opting to join the East London side.

West Ham often have an eye for players playing outside of the Premier League, with just two signings, Maximilian Kilman and James Ward-Prowse, having signed from fellow English sides, Wolves and Southampton.

Seven of the ten on the list are still contracted to the Irons, seeing an influx in spending in recent years as they have aimed to follow up their success in the UEFA Conference League.
