We take a look at the top 10 most expensive player signings for AC Milan.

Rafael Leao tops the list for the most expensive signings in AC Milan's history, joining the club from Lille for €49.50m in the 2019 summer transfer window.

Leonardo Bonucci and Rui Costa are the only other two Milan signings that have exceeded the €40m mark. Costa would become the club's most expensive transfer at the time, winning the Serie A in the 2003/04 campaign and the UEFA Champions League in the 2002/03 term.

Charles De Ketelaere is the most recent player to make the list, with the highly rated, versatile Belgian signing from Club Brugge in 2022. His time at the club would last just two years, signing for fellow Italian outfit Atalanta in 2024.

Despite coming in at eighth, Filippo Inzaghi would undoubtedly be higher up the list if it was based on ability. Joining in 2001, he would see out 11 years at the club, winning both the Seria A and UEFA Champions League twice.
