Most backed horses in the Derby: Best Bets

Delacroix is the most backed horse by bet365 customers ahead of the 2025 Derby at Epsom Downs.

Four-time winner Ryan Moore will be on board last month's Trial winner as trainer Aidan O'Brien bids for a record-extending 11th victory in the race.

13.79% of customers believe that Delacroix is the best bet for the Derby, while 12.85% of bets have been placed on 2,000 Guineas winner Ruling Court for Godolphin and Charlie Appleby.

Another O'Brien horse in the form of The Lion In Winter is also amongst the best backed horses for the Derby, despite being underwhelming on his seasonal reappearance in the Dante last month.

The Ralph Beckett-trained Stanhope Gardens and Dante winner Pride Of Arras make up the top five most popular Derby bets.
