John McGinn has been a cornerstone of Aston Villa's success since signing for the club in 2018.
The Scotsman joined for a bargain fee from Hibernian as a 23-year-old, helping Villa to achieve promotion back to the Premier League in his first campaign and being named Player of the Season.
The following summer he was handed a new five-year deal at Villa Park and he hasn't looked back since.
McGinn was named club captain after the departure of Jack Grealish in 2021 and has gone on to play a starring role in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League and Europa League.
With more than 300 Villa appearances to his name, McGinn has had his fair share of teammates at the Midlands club but no player has featured alongside him more times than Ezri Konsa.
The England international joined Villa one season after McGinn's arrival and has chalked up 242 games with the Scot.
Konsa is one of three to play more than 200 games with McGinn, the others being Ollie Watkins and Emiliano Martinez. Polish full back Matty Cash just falls short of the double-century, taking to the field next to McGinn on 198 occasions.
