Everything you need to know after Moses Itauma solidified his position as the brightest prospect in the heavyweight division by emphatically stopping Dillian Whyte in round one in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Moses Itauma beat Dillian Whyte via TKO to cement his status as the brightest prospect in the heavyweight division.
The 'Wrecking Ball' needed just one round to stop the 'Body Snatcher', offloading a number of savage shots to drop Whyte to the canvas.
It was Itauma's brutal right hook that caused Whyte the most problems, with the referee calling an end to the fight after the 37-year-old shakily returned to his feet.
With Itauma emphatically stopping Whyte in round one, there wasn't time for the judges to give their say on the clash.
"I saw he was doing exactly what Ben [Davison, his trainer] was telling me to do, but the fight nerves and what not kicked in and after maybe the first minute, I was like cool, I keep seeing this happen, I can't miss it.
"Executed the game plan.
"What's next? Honestly, I will fight anyone they put in front of me.
"If I be completely honest, Joseph Parker [and Agit] Kabayel do deserve the shot [at Oleksandr Usyk] but I would love to take the opportunity as well.
"Chuck me in there with them lot!"
"He's done everything that's been asked of him and it's how he's done it. He's the most unbelievable finisher, if he catches you, you're in trouble.
"They got it absolutely perfect.
"He's an unbelievable talent, an unbelievable boxing talent. Probably one of the best, if not the best at this stage of his career I've ever been involved with."
Moses Itauma was installed as the heavy odds-on 1/9 to emerge victorious against Dillian Whyte, meaning there was a 90% implied probability of the 20-year-old coming out on top.
While people may have been shocked that Whyte was unable to last any longer than a round, there was an overarching sense that Itauma would inevitably stop him.
Itauma was priced at 1/4 to win via KO, TKO or DQ, meaning there was a 80% chance of the outcome, a slightly narrower probability than the 'Wrecking Ball' simply winning the fight.
Moses Itauma had never gone longer than six rounds prior to the clash with Dillian Whyte, and many expected he would ensure this remained the case in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Whyte expectedly started the fight with caution, while Itauma needed about a minute before his sharpness and precision showed.
Initially attacking the body, Itauma took things upstairs after sensing vulnerability in Whyte's stance - becoming more unstable by the second.
A left-right hook combination sent Whyte tumbling to the ground, with the referee concluding that he was in no fit state to continue when he made his way back to his feet.
