One of the highlights of the motorsport calendar, the Monaco Grand Prix is hailed as the crown jewel of Formula 1.
The famous street circuit has been hosting F1 races since the 1950s and remains a star attraction, even if overtaking is an incredibly difficult challenge around the narrow circuit.
In last year's event, Max Verstappen survived a mid-race downpour to win comfortably from Fernando Alonso.

This month marks the 30th anniversary of Ayrton Senna's passing but his mark on the Monaco Grand Prix remains, with the Brazilian still holding the record for most wins in the Principality with six.
The 'King of Monaco' recorded five consecutive wins between 1989 and 1993. There was also the famous qualifying session of 1988, in which Senna clocked a lap time 1.427 seconds quicker than his team mate Alain Prost, who qualified second.
Senna also holds the record for most pole positions (five) and podium finishes, of which he achieved eight.
The lap length of Circuit de Monaco is 3.337km (2.07 mi), meaning that a 78 lap race tallies up to 260.286 km (161.734 mi).
Lewis Hamilton is the holder of the lap record at Monaco. Set in 2021, he completed a lap with a time of 1:12:909 in the Mercedes W12.
The fastest qualifying lap was also set by Hamilton, with the seven-time world champion delivering a time of 1:10:166 in Q3 of the 2019 Monaco Grand Prix.
