Despite it being his worst goalscoring season at Liverpool, Salah enjoyed another fine campaign. Despite suffering from his customary post-AFCON drop-off - the Egyptian scored just four goals after New Year's Day, at which point he joined his international team-mates only to see his tournament cut short by injury - only three players registered more goal contributions.
Liverpool are certainly one of the most fascinating teams to watch heading into the new campaign. No longer under Jurgen Klopp, the question everyone wants to know is how big the drop-off will be - if indeed there is a drop-off.
It's early days but the Reds have looked good in pre-season under Arne Slot, and while it's unwise to read too much into friendlies, Liverpool have won all three matches so far, including a 3-0 win over Manchester United and a 2-1 win over Arsenal.
Salah is 32 now and you'd expect to see a physical decline before too long, but his numbers remain excellent. Outside of his impressive 18 goals and 10 assists from 32 games last season, the Egyptian's xG/90 was third in the league (min. 15 90s) at 0.75 and his xA/90 was the best in the league (min. 15 90s) at 0.42.
