It's the end of a glorious chapter at Liverpool after club legend Mohamed Salah said his farewell to Anfield at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Liverpool confirmed Salah is to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with the club, leaving the Merseyside outfit as an undoubted Premier League great.
The 'Egyptian King' will depart Anfield on a free transfer, despite his existing contract running through to the summer of 2027, and interest in the 33-year-old is expected to be vast.

There's been an overriding sense that Salah's playing career will draw to a close in the affluent Saudi Pro League, and it's therefore no surprise to see PIF-owned Al Ittihad towards the top of the market to secure the forward's signature.
The Reds reportedly turned down a £150m Deadline Day bid for Salah from Al Ittihad in September 2023, and you'd suspect that the club will reignite their interest in the Egyptian now that he is available on a free transfer in the summer transfer window.
Fellow Saudi Pro League outfits Al Nassr, Al Hilal and Al Ahli feature prominently in the betting, while a series of MLS clubs could be in the mix for Salah's signature after adding household names Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba to the league in recent years.
Interestingly, Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahçe have moved to the top of the betting in recent weeks after reports emerged that they were leading the race.
Aziz Yildrim recently won the presidential election at the Turkish club and is believed to be hugely interested in signing Salah, who had been as big as 40/1 to secure his services when the market was released at the end of April.
