With Mohamed Salah's Liverpool contract set to expire next summer, there is growing speculation surrounding the Egyptian's future at Anfield.
Becoming the highest-paid player in Liverpool's history when penning a new three-year deal in July 2022, Salah is now entering the final 12 months of his contract which leaves the Reds in a vulnerable position.
Set to turn 32 in June, Salah's peak years are now behind him, and Liverpool's hierarchy including the returning head of football operations Michael Edwards may feel it is time to cash in on the club legend.
However, as things stand, reports suggest Liverpool are planning to keep Salah ahead of next season, with the Egyptian odds-on to remain at Anfield following the close of this summer's transfer window.
Should Salah leave Liverpool this summer it appears as though Saudi Arabia is his most likely destination.

Signing for Liverpool from Roma for £34.3m in the summer in the summer of 2017, Salah has developed into a legendary figure at Anfield - winning the Champions League in 2019 and Premier League the year later.
A three-time Golden Boot winner in England's top flight, Salah became Liverpool's all-time top scorer in the Premier League when netting a brace in the Reds' sensational 7-0 victory over rivals Manchester United at Anfield in March 2023.
With fellow Liverpool legend Jurgen Klopp now departed, it has been touted that Salah will follow his German mentor through the exit door at Anfield.
Although the option of extending a substantial contract of a 32-year-old player does not seem to be aligned with Michael Edwards' famous 'Moneyball' approach to squad management, Salah is an exceptional case at Liverpool.
Edwards and fellow club bosses may wish Salah to be involved in the post-Klopp rebuild with Arne Slot and Liverpool are favourites in the betting to retain the Egyptian's services ahead of next season.
