Los Angeles Galaxy are the reigning MLS Cup champions after winning their sixth crown by defeating New York Red Bulls in the 2024 final.

Many anticipated Inter Miami would be waiting for them in the showpiece but Lionel Messi & Co. were eliminated in round one of the playoffs by Atalanta United.

Now under the stewardship of Javier Mascherano, Inter Miami will be targeting top honours in all competitions this term.

Los Angeles FC have bolstered their ranks with the addition of France's record goalscorer Olivier Giroud and they will be hoping the former Milan frontman will help to inspire them to a maiden MLS Cup triumph.

2023 champions Columbus Crew are also in the reckoning, while FC Cincinnati have spent lavishly on marquee signings Kevin Denkey and Evander from Cercle Brugge and Portland Timbers respectively.
