League of Legends European Championship outfit Misfits Gaming have confirmed the signing of Felix "MagiFelix" Bostrom as a multi-role substitute ahead of the 2022 Spring Split playoffs.
In the LEC Spring, meanwhile, Misfits Gaming are 2/9 to beat Astralis, who can be backed at 3/1 to come out on top.
Misfits have made the acquisition in case of an emergency with the 22-year-old able to cover for players in both the LEC team and the Misfits Premier side who compete in the French LFL.
"MagiFelix" has previously turned out for some of the biggest organisations in the Esport, playing for Fnatic between 2019 and 2020 before representing Astralis last year.
And the mid laner will provide Misfits with some much-needed depth from the bench.
They are currently third in the LEC Spring Split regular standings with a 10-5 win-loss record heading into the eighth and final week of the tournament.

In week eight, they face Astralis on Friday, Fnatic on Saturday and SK Gaming on Sunday as they look to secure a top-six berth and a consequent place in the playoffs.
Last time out in the LEC Summer Split 2021, Misfits reached the playoffs but lost their first match in the winners' bracket before also losing in round two of the losers' bracket and they will be hoping for more this time around.
Regarding the latest addition to the team, Misfits posted: "With playoffs right around the corner, we decided to sign a multi-role substitute for both LEC and LFL in case of emergency.
"And you know there's only one person who can do that job [besides Tyler1]. Welcome to Misfits, @MagiFelix_lol!"
