Millwall Femi Azeez has reportedly set his sights on a move to the Premier League despite interest from Championship side Wrexham.
Journalist Pete O'Rourke has reported Wrexham's interest in the player, with the Welsh club believed to have Azeez at the top of their priority list before the transfer window shuts.
It is claimed that Azeez himself is eyeing a move to the Premier League, with discussions ongoing between the player and Millwall.
The identity of the possible Premier League destination remains unclear, but the news of Azeez's desire to pursue a transfer is a blow for Millwall.
Azeez joined Millwall from Reading in the summer of 2024 but it was last season where he made the biggest impact.
The 25-year-old scored 11 goals in 35 matches as the Lions reached the Championship play-offs, before they were eventually beaten by Hull City over two legs.
Millwall are expected to challenge at the top of the Championship again this season and Azeez would be a difficult player to replace as the closing of the transfer window edges closer.
