Mike Tyson vs Floyd Mayweather is set to take place on Saturday 25th April.

It was always expected the fight would be staged in April, with the Ring Magazine going as far as to confirm the exact date in February.

Whilst Las Vegas and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, had been suggested as the likely destinations for the bout, it's now been announced that the Democratic Republic of Congo will host the fight.

Whilst the exact location is still to be confirmed, it is now common knowledge that the DR Congo, the same country that housed the iconic 'Rumble in the Jungle' back in 1974 will host the full card.

At the time of writing, no official broadcaster has been announced although given the size of the fight between Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather, it would come as no surprise to see Netflix pick up the broadcasting rights for the fight.

The US-based broadcasting giant have previously live-streamed Jake Paul's clash with Tyson last year, whilst more recently has staged Katie Taylor's trilogy affair with Amanda Serrano and Terence Crawford's captivating victory over Canelo Alvarez.
