Monaco striker Mika Biereth has hit the ground running since joining the club in January, and he is likely to draw up plenty of interest heading into the summer transfer window.
A relatively unknown entity prior to his move to Ligue 1 outfit Monaco, only Kylian Mbappe and Serhou Guirassy have scored more goals than the striker in Europe's top five leagues in 2025.
Here is everything you need to know about Monaco's Danish centre forward Mika Biereth.
Born on 8th February 2003, Biereth is 23 years old.
Biereth was born in London to a Danish-German father and a Bosnian mother, opting to play for Denmark's national team.
Monaco signed the Danish striker for a reported €15m fee in the 2025 January transfer window, though his market value has expectedly risen since the move.
Valued by transfermarkt at €25m, it's hard to imagine that the Ligue 1 side would sanction the sale of Biereth for anything less than double what they paid, especially given the current market for strikers of a similar profile.
It's no surprise to see that Mika Biereth is already attracting interest from fellow European sides, with AC Milan and Everton allegedly keeping tabs on the striker.
While a move to Milan seems unlikely at this stage given their recent acquisition of striker Santiago Gimenez, Everton will likely be in the market for a centre forward, and could potentially make a move for Biereth if the price is right.
Biereth plays almost all of his minutes as a centre forward, thriving in physical battles with central defenders.
Biereth is 6ft 2ins and of lean build.
Biereth is primarily right-footed, though is a confident finisher on his weaker left foot.
Mika Biereth is undeniably a handful for defenders. Possessing a robust and athletic build, he works relentlessly when off the ball and willingly runs into both channels when his team are in transition.
There has been a renaissance in 'old-school' centre forwards of late, with the likes of Erling Haaland, Benjamin Sesko and Victor Gyokeres possessing similar physical and technical attributes. Biereth certainly fits the bill.
While he isn't technically refined, he has a knack for arriving in goalscoring positions, using sharp and clever movement to misguide the opposition's defenders.
A signigicant proportion of his recent success at Monaco can be attributed to the system around him, employed by manager Adi Hutter.
The fluid movement from the likes of Takumi Minamino, Maghnes Akliouche, Aleksandr Golovin and Eliesse Ben Seghir allows Biereth to take up a central role, rarely having to leave the box when Monaco are able to sustain an attack.
A natural finisher who has come to life since his move to Ligue 1, Biereth will no doubt attract interest from other European sides should he keep up his fine form.

Born in London, Biereth's youth career started with Fulham, where he would spend four years before making the move to fellow Londoners Arsenal.
Spending three years at the Gunners, the striker failed to make a single appearance, but instead enjoyed loan spells at Dutch side RKC Waalwijk, Scottish outfit Motherwell and Austrian team Sturm Graz.
He moved to Sturm Graz on a permanent basis in July 2024, before moving on to Monaco less than six months later in the 2025 January transfer window.
Biereth has played just twice for Denmark's senior side, making his debut on 20th March 2025 in a 1-0 win against Portugal.
He also represented Denmark at U19 and U21 level.
Biereth's profile means he could prove effective in both a side who see a large percentage of the ball and a team who are effective in attacking transitions.
A proficient poacher with impressive movement, another year in Ligue 1 may best serve his development, but who's to say that he couldn't hit the ground running in the Premier League as he has done in France.
