Confirmed runners and riders for the Middle Park Stakes

The runners and riders have been confirmed for the 2024 Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket Racecourse on Saturday 28th September.

July Stakes and Prix Morny winner Whistlejacket is the headline attraction for the Group 1 race and he will face seven rivals this weekend.

As well as having the favourite in his ranks, Aidan O'Brien also has Ides Of March at his disposal, a horse in good form after back-to-back wins at The Curragh.

Richmond Stakes winner Black Forza will also run, as will Shadow Of Light, who was a Group 2 runner-up at York last time out

Defence Minister has been supplemented for the race and he could outrun his double-figure price.
