Best known for introducing some of the biggest fights in boxing history, Buffer has became famous for his iconic, five-word trademarked catchphrase.
Of course, Buffer has also introduced several events outside boxing, including baseball, professional wrestling, ice hockey, basketball, and on Thursday night, the legendary announcer will be in attendance at the Brick Community Stadium for the Super League opener between Wigan Warriors and Leigh Leopards.
Unfortunately, fans are unlikely to hear 'let's get ready to rumble', with Buffer reported to charge five-figure sums to say the immortal words at boxing events, though Wigan Warriors and Sky Sports claim to have a few surprises in store.
