Celebrating a first-round win over Matteo Berrettini at the Miami Open, Andy Murray wrote on the camera lens "life in the old dog yet" as he could be in for a long run at the Masters 1000 event.
The Scot may have dropped outside the world’s top 50 players, but he seems determined to prove he can still mix it with the best, highlighted by his impressive win in Florida.
Murray has indicated this might be his last summer on the ATP Tour and, if that is the case, he will want to go out in style, with the three-time Grand Slam winner 150/1 to be crowned champion in Miami.
Andy Murray - To Win Outright 150/1
Andy Murray - To Reach the Final 125/1
It’s now three tournaments in a row that Murray has progressed past the first round, with the task set to try and head deeper in the Miami event.
Murray was staring defeat in the eyes after losing the first set 4-6, with his Italian opponent returning to action after a lengthy spell out through injury.
Former Wimbledon finalist Berrettini was always likely to struggle with fatigue as the match progressed and Murray took full advantage.
The Scot broke in the sixth game of the second set and went on to level the match, winning it 6-3, with Berrettini needing treatment after suffering from dizziness.
The three-time Grand Slam champion, who won 79% of points on his first serve, took the final set 6-4 to seal an impressive win.

Andy Murray vs Tomas Martin Etcheverry is available to watch live on bet365's Live Streaming service, with the match set to start at 15:00 from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Friday 22nd March.
World number 30 Etcheverry is the second-round opponent for Murray and will offer a stern test for the British ace.
Argentina’s Etcheverry is 12 years younger than the Scot and has a good record in their recent meetings.
The 24-year-old lost to Murray over three sets at Indian Wells last year, but has since gone on to win their next two meetings. The first of those came in Basel in 2023, before he claimed victory in straight sets in January’s Australian Open.
Murray is 8/11 to win the match, with his opponent available to back at 11/10 to make it three wins in a row over the British number four.
The pair’s previous three-set encounters have both gone the distance and Friday’s clash is 11/10 to follow suit.
Murray has good memories of Miami Gardens, being a two-time winner of the Miami event - in 2009 and 2013 - while also reaching the final in 2012 and 2015. Mainly due to injuries, this is the first time the British star has played in the event since 2016.
