Algeria's Djamel Sedjati is the favourite to win gold in the men's 800m final at the Olympics.

Sedjati missed out on the Tokyo Olympics after testing positive for coronavirus and the Algerian is desperate to make amends in Paris.
The 25-year-old became the third fastest athlete over 800m at the Herculis meeting in early July with a 1:41.46 and Sedjati has taken a steady approach in his qualification to the final, posting times in the 1m45s in both the heat and semi-finals.
Emmanuel Wanyonyi is next in the betting after setting the fastest 800m time at the Olympics so far in the semi-finals and the Kenyan runner aided Team GB's Max Burgin in achieving a personal best time of 1:43:50.
The Halifax-born runner was astounded that he'd progressed to the final and Burgin, who is priced at 40/1 to win gold, may thrive as the underdog when the gun sounds on Saturday.
After the race, Burgin told the BBC: “I couldn't be happier, I really don't know what to say. To get through here in a PB, and I felt quite good doing it as well."
