Signing for Celtic from MK Dons for a snip at £1.5m in January 2022, 23-year-old O'Riley has taken his game to the next level north of the border.

First teaming up with Ange Postecoglou in Glasgow, O'Riley quickly developed into one of Celtic's star players, operating as an attacking number eight equally capable of scoring and assisting goals.

The 2023/24 campaign saw O'Riley's attacking output truly explode under new Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, with the former Fulham academy player registering an outstanding 19 goals and 18 assists in all competitions for the Hoops.

One of these assists came in a 2-2 draw at home to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League group stages, with the Denmark international awarded UEFA's player of the match award after starring in midfield.

Awarded Celtic's Player of the Year award for 2023/24, the Bhoys could have their work cut out to keep the influential Dane at Parkhead this summer, with an array of Premier League clubs also rumoured to be mulling over a transfer swoop.

A tall and elegant midfielder who stands at 6ft 2ins tall, O'Riley has all the tools in his locker to enjoy a career at the highest level, and it is little surprise there are plenty of suitors queuing up in an attempt to prise him away from the Scottish Premiership.

Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta appear to be leading the pursuit of O'Riley's signature as the Bergamo-based outfit seek to improve upon an outstanding season in 2023/24 which saw them finish fourth in Serie A and win the Europa League.
