Keith Deller MBE provides his best bets for Wednesday night's play off clash between Martin Lukeman and Ross Smith at the Grand Slam of Darts.
Martin Lukeman v Ross Smith
Wednesday 13th November (21:00)
Lukeman is in fine form heading into this contest, having won all three of his group stage games. Smith followed up a loss against Ritchie Edhouse with back-to-back wins in the group and will he be keen to make it three wins on the bounce.
I expect Smith to come out on top and, given he is one of the world's most capable 180 hitters, do not be surprised to see him hit over 6.5 total 180s.
That said, we can not downplay Lukeman's ability to hit 180s and, while he may not be as strong as Smith in that department, between the pair I can see over 10.5 total 180s being hit.
In a 19 leg contest, there will be ample opportunity for the pair to display their ability to finish, and I would expect there to be at least one bull finish in the match.
Odds will display when markets are live.
