Everything you need to know as Martin Bakole and Efe Ajagba get set to square-off in a hugely-anticipated IBF heavyweight world title final eliminator in New York City later this year.
Martin Bakole v Efe Ajagba are set to meet in May, 2025, with the bout, which is being staged by Turki Alalshikh's Ring Magazine, yet to have its exact date confirmed.
Martin Bakole v Efe Ajagba features on a stacked bill of action which also includes Devin Haney v Jose Carlos Ramirez and Ryan Garcia v Rolando Romero, and is expected to get underway at around 01:30 (GMT), prior to Haney's and Garcia's showdowns.
Martin Bakole v Efe Ajagba, together with the full Ring Magazine card, hasn't had its venue officially confirmed yet, although it appears as though New York's iconic Times Square will play host to the fight.
Martin Bakole and Efe Ajagba owon't be fighting for any titles although the IBF have ordered the bout as a final eliminator for their heavyweight title.
That belt is, of course, currently in possession of Daniel Dubois, although that could change by the time this showdown comes around given the British star is set to defend his prized strap against former WBO title-holder Joseph Parker in Saudi Arabia in February.
The winner of that fight will be forced to make a mandatory defence against either Bakole or Ajagba.
