Hard-hitting heavyweight Martin Bakole has joined BOXXER's stable of fighters as he targets a world title opportunity later this year.
The 29-year-old becomes the latest star to link up with Ben Shalom's promotional company, following in the footsteps of the likes of Adam Azim, Caroline Dubois, Frazer Clarke and Ben Whittaker.
Ranked number one by the World Boxing Association (WBA), Bakole has won 18 professional bouts, being beaten just once by the heavy-handed American Michael Hunter four years ago.
Since then, he has embarked upon an impressive seven-fight winning streak, with his last success coming against 2016 Olympic gold medalist Tony Yoka in Paris last spring.
Announcing the agreement, BOXXER CEO & founder Shalom said: "This is a huge heavyweight signing!
"Martin is at the top of the WBA rankings and he is destined to deliver great things. We're delighted to add him to our world class roster.
"Martin comfortably defeated Olympic champion Tony Yoka away from home in his last outing, and he is arguably the most avoided fighter in the entire heavyweight division.
"They can all run but they can't hide for too long, especially now he has the backing of BOXXER and Sky."

Bakole, who is the younger brother of WBC cruiserweight strap holder Ilunga Makabu, hails from from the Democratic Republic of Congo but currently resides in Airdrie, Scotland, where he is trained by Billy Nelson.
The fighter has already enjoyed triumphs over the well-seasoned Kevin Johnson and Mariusz Wach during his professional career, but believes he can scale even greater heights with BOXXER.
"I'm absolutely thrilled to join BOXXER and perform on the biggest platform in Sky Sports," Bakole said.
"I will build on my last performance against Tony Yoka and soon become the new world heavyweight champion!"
