Mark Selby has captured a total of 24 ranking titles throughout his illustrious playing career, placing him eighth on the all-time list.
His ranking honours include four World Snooker Championship crowns, three Masters titles and two successes at the UK Championship.
Only Ronnie O'Sullivan (23), Stephen Hendry (18) and Steve Davis (15) have won more Triple Crown events than Selby (Nine).
Mark Selby secured the first of his four World Snooker Championship titles in 2014 after prevailing 18-14 against Ronnie O’Sullivan.
His maiden Crucible triumph came seven years after his first appearance in the competition’s showpiece final - an occasion in which John Higgins inflicted an 18-13 defeat upon him.
He did boast a 100 percent record in world finals, having followed up his 2014 win with a second in 2016 (18-14 v Ding Junhui) and a third against Higgins (18-15) 12 months later.
His fourth success in the competition came in 2021 when he edged Shaun Murphy out 18-15 to become only the ninth player in history to register four World Snooker Championship triumphs.
Selby's unblemished Crucible final record did end in 2023 however, when Luca Brecel overcame him 18-15 in a Sheffield epic to become world champion for the first time.
Mark Selby is currently ranked number three on the World Snooker Tour's two-year ranking list.
'The Jester from Leicester' has been to the summit of the rankings on numerous occasions, but has since dropped below runaway leader Judd Trump and reigning world champion Kyren Wilson on the list.
Mark Selby's nickname, 'The Jester from Leicester' derives from snooker compere Richard Beare, who gave him the moniker because of the Leicester player's fun, friendly and light-hearted nature.
Mark Selby is 41-years-old and will turn 42 on 19th June, 2025.
