Man Utd academy graduate Rashford had endured a difficult start to the 2024/25 campaign at Old Trafford, although a loan move to Aston Villa in the January transfer window has seemingly given the forward a new lease of life.

Despite an impressive spell at the Villans thus far, even taking Ollie Watkins' spot in the team on occasions, there remains doubt as to whether Rashford will sign for the club permanently, despite the loan deal including an option-to-buy clause.

A move to the West Midlands does however look the most likely at this stage, but talks of a move to Barcelona have persisted, while we also don't know if there could be any kind of resolution between Rashford and Ruben Amorim.

bet365's Sports and Trading expert Steve Freeth said: "Rashford didn't look that motivated the last time he played in Manchester, but he looked sharp as a tack at the Etihad in midweek, scoring a customary goal against Manchester City and he's clearly doing plenty right at Villa Park if Ollie Watkins is grumbling about playing time.

"Where Rashford will be at the end of the summer transfer window is a great debate and we're favouring him staying in the Second City in a betting heat that could run and run for a few months yet."
