Manchester United will look to bounce back from a hugely disappointing 2023/24 campaign with Erik ten Hag remaining in post.

Although the Red Devils suffered countless injuries to key players over the course of last season, the Dutchman was widely expected to leave Old Trafford, even after their shock FA Cup final win over Manchester City.

But with other targets either unsuitable or unavailable, Ten Hag gets a third term in Manchester where the remit will be to return United to the Champions League.

With a new team running the football side of the business, it's assumed United will be more coherent off the field if nothing else, with the club moving to sign Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee with Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui set to follow.

Should Ten Hag keep his key players fit throughout the campaign there's every chance of a Champions League finish, but failure to reach Europe's elite club competition will likely see the end of the Dutchman's tenure at Old Trafford.
