After Arsenal and Liverpool lost to Aston Villa and Crystal Palace respectively, Manchester City have been priced up at 2/5 to win the Premier League.
What has been a gripping title race - and an extremely rare one in that it featured three teams - looks to be running out of steam following shock defeats on Sunday.
The Liverpool result was a particular surprise, in that the Reds have lost just once at home in front of fans in the Premier League in seven years. Jurgen Klopp has made Anfield a genuine fortress, with that one prior defeat in itself a huge shock as Crysencio Summerville scored an 89th-minute winner for Leeds in October 2022.
In the last few months, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have looked miles clear of the chasing pack, winning virtually every week in which they weren't playing each other. Indeed, prior to last week, in their previous 10 games, Liverpool had won eight, drawing to Manchester City and losing to Arsenal; Arsenal had won nine, drawing to Manchester City, and City had won seven, drawing to Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Last week was a huge blow for Liverpool, dropping two points at Old Trafford in a game they dominated, and the wheels have very much come off now at 6/1 for the title.
The Reds are only two points behind City, but still have trips to Everton, West Ham and Aston Villa as a well as a home clash with Tottenham, while City's toughest fixtures - on paper, at least - appear to be Brighton away and Tottenham away, and you wouldn't rule out City winning all six games to claim a fourth straight title.
The weekend couldn't have gone any better for City. Erling Haaland found himself back amongst the goals - even if his strike against Luton was from the penalty spot - while City added four goals to what may yet still be important goal difference and then saw their rivals suffer shock home defeats on Sunday.
Even if Liverpool and Arsenal win their six remaining games, there's every chance they'd come up two short.
