Unai Emery is the most successful manager in the history of the Europa League having lifted the trophy on five occasions.
Emery made it five as Aston Villa recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory over SC Freiburg in the 2025/26 Europa League final.
The Spanish manager's only defeat in a Europa League final remains Arsenal's 4-1 defeat to Chelsea in May 2019.
The only other manager to win the competition more than twice is legendary Italian manager Giovanni Trapattoni.
Trapattoni won the competition when it was called the UEFA Cup in 1977 as he guided Juventus to glory.
He then won the UEFA Cup with Inter Milan in 1991 before winning the competition with Juventus again two years later.
Only seven managers have won the competition more than once, with five coaches below Emery and Trapattoni on the list with two titles.
Luis Molowny led Real Madrid to back-to-back trophies in 1985 and 1986, while Juande Ramos did the same with Sevilla in 2006 and 2007.
Rafael Benitez became the first manager to win the competition as both the UEFA Cup and the Europa League with Valencia in 2004 and Chelsea in 2013.
Jose Mourinho followed suit by winning the UEFA Cup with FC Porto and the Europa League with Manchester United, while Diego Simeone has led Atletico Madrid to the Europa League trophy on two occasions.
