Keith Deller MBE provides his best bets for Thursday night's last 16 clash between Luke Littler and Mike De Decker at the Grand Slam of Darts.
Luke Littler v Mike De Decker
Thursday 14th November (21:15)
Mike De Decker is playing with confidence heading into this game, which is no surprise given he won his first PDC major title (World Grand Prix) in October.
He eased past Michael Smith last time out in a 5-0 win and I expect him to give Luke Littler a tough match on Thursday night.
For that reason, I have backed him to hit over 5.5 total 180s.
That said, we can't dismiss Littler's fine form, winning all three group stage games without really breaking a sweat.
He has thrown 10 180s across 19 legs so far and, between him and Mike De Decker, I expect there to be over 12.5 180s in this best-of-19 leg contest.
Quality is certainly not lacking amongst these two, and if the pair are able to provide consistency in their game on Thursday then don't be surprised to see chances at a perfect nine-dart leg.
While De Decker will undoubtedly be Littler's toughest opponent yet, I still expect the Englishman to prevail.
