Keith Deller MBE provides his best bets for Saturday evening's Grand Slam of Darts group stage clash between Luke Littler and Keane Barry.
Luke Littler v Keane Barry
Saturday 9th November (21:30)
Luke Littler has gone off the boil over the past couple of months and believe me, he will be desperate to address that at the Grand Slam of Darts.
First round defeats at each of the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix and European Championship will have left a sour taste in the mouth of 'The Nuke' as he looks ahead to his maiden outing in Wolverhampton.
He faces Keane Barry in his opener and whilst I anticipate the underdog giving him a few problems, I fully expect Luke to get the job done and secure the points.
Keane is a very capable operator so don't be surprised to see him stick in there for a little while, but I feel that Luke will find that crucial break of throw and go on to edge this match 5-3.
I also like the play of five or more 180s in the match between the two players.
Keane is pretty solid on the maximum front and we all know how exciting Luke can be when he finds his groove.
Both players are pretty quick throwers so that should enable them to find their scoring rhythm which makes the price for five or more 180s look a tad too big.
Odds will display when markets are live.
