Louie Barry is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after being helped off in the 15th minute of Sheffield Wednesday's 2-1 win against Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday night.
After numerous loan spells -- including a short stint with Wednesday's rivals Sheffield United -- Barry made the permanent switch to Hillsborough in the summer, signing a four-year deal for the club.
He's enjoyed a fruitful start to life in South Yorkshire, scoring three goals and registering one assist in four League One appearances, but Henrik Pedersen will be without his services for a substantial period after the striker was forced off at Adams Park with an ankle injury on Tuesday.
The substitution came just four minutes after Barry levelled the scoring in the 11th minute.

When is Louie Barry expected to return from injury?
As per Sheffield Wednesday's official club website, Barry is set for up to three months on the sidelines through injury.
The striker sustained an ankle ligament injury and will now start his recovery at the club's training ground on Middlewood Road.
Should Barry recover in the period expected, he's in line to return to the first team fold in the early stages of December.
A trip to Oxford United on 1st December may prove too early for the versatile forward, but he could be available when Wednesday travel to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City on 10th December.
In spite of his injury, Barry still features prominently in the betting to be the League One top goalscorer in the 2026/27 campaign. He is available at 7/1, with Reading's Jack Marriott and Huddersfield's Joseph Taylor the only players priced shorter.
