Los Angeles is 7/2 to win the 2024 Derby at Epsom as Aidan O'Brien goes in search of a record-extending 10th win in Britain's richest Flat race.

The unbeaten three-year-old colt has had plenty of market support in the build-up to the race and will battle it out for favouritism with the likes of City of Troy and Ancient Wisdom on Saturday afternoon.
Los Angeles enjoyed a fine end to his 2023 campaign as he prevailed in a maiden at Tipperary, ahead of his thoroughly impressive Group 1 victory in the Criterium de Saint-Cloud last October.
That win as a juvenile led O'Brien to target the Derby for the son of 2012 winner Camelot, and his seasonal reappearance in the Derby Trial at Leopardstown was a sign that Los Angeles could compete at the top table.
His last two victories have been on softer ground conditions and that should stand him in good stead to join a prestigious Derby roll of honour this weekend.
Wayne Lordan will be on board again after their triumph in Ireland last month, with Ryan Moore riding stablemate City Of Troy in Saturday's main event.
