The runners and riders have been confirmed for the 2024 Long Distance Cup at Ascot Racecourse on Saturday 19th October.
Last year's winner Trawlerman is back to defend his crown after failing in his bid to win the Dubai World Cup and the Ascot Gold Cup since his victory 12 months ago.
Kyprios was second to Trawlerman last year but has since enjoyed a stellar 2024 which has included victory in the Ascot Gold Cup and three further Group 1 wins.
Al Nayyir and Sweet William have also been declared along with outsiders Burdett Road, Belloccio, The Euphrates, Alsakib and Caius Chorister.
There are nine confirmed runners for the 2024 Long Distance Cup on British Champions Day at Ascot
