Developer Riot Games have confirmed that the 2022 League of Legends World Championship will be a multi-city tournament for the first time in its history.
Team Vitality, meanwhile, are 7/4 shots to win next year's LOL LEC Spring.
The dust has only just settled on the most recent LOL World Championship in Reykjavik in Iceland with Edward Gaming havied defied expectations to win the Summoner's Cup.
They defeated Royal Never Give Up and Gen.G Esports in the knockout phase, setting up a final with DAMWON Gaming, who won the event back in 2020.
And although DAMWON were widely expected to make it back-to-back titles, it was LPL side EG who took the spoils.

But developers already have their sights on next year's tournament, which is considered the most prestigious event on the LOL calendar.
And although dates are sure to be announced a lot later, Riot have confirmed the 2022 Worlds will be taking place in not one but four cities in North America.
Set to be spread across the continent, the tournament will take place in Toronto's Scotiabank Arena, New York's Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, San Francisco's Chase Center, and Mexico City's Liga Latinoamerica arena.
With three countries involved in hosting, it is a first of its kind for the Worlds.
Speaking about next year's event, Naz Aletaha, the global head of the Esport, said: "The momentum behind League of Legends Esports has only continued to grow since the last time we hosted Worlds in the US in 2016.
"We're thrilled to bring the full scale of our global sport back to North America.
"Worlds is the showcase of the greatest of our sport and we look forward to celebrating that with our fans in North America and across the world."
