Following a breakdown in negotiations for Brighton's Yankuba Minteh, Liverpool have reportedly made a £50m bid for Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via X, Liverpool have moved on from the Brighton winger due to Seagull's asking price and are now moving for the Senegal international instead.
Romano reports that the Reds have tabled the offer - in the region of £50m - but has not yet mentioned whether or not the bid has been accepted by the Eagles.
Palace have already rejected two bids of unknown value from Turkish giants Galatasaray this summer, with Sarr yet to feature for his club side since returning from the 2026 World Cup.
At 28, Sarr has established himself as one of Crystal Palace and Senegal's most important players, ending the recent World Cup as his nation's top scorer, with four goals.
A key member of the Crystal Palace teams who have lifted the FA Cup, Community Shield and UEFA Conference League over the course of the last two campaigns, Sarr would be a difficult player to replace for Pierre Sage's side.
Sage has already confirmed that the former Watford star will play no part in Palace's match against Manchester City on Friday night, as speculation over his future heightens.
A pacy, prolific winger capable of playing off both sides, Sarr has registered 43 goals and assists across his 92 matches in south London, with his 20 goals scored last campaign across all competitions making 2025/26 his best to date.
Should he make the move to Anfield, Sarr would be tasked with filling the boots of Liverpool hero Mohamed Salah off the right wing, as the Reds continue to search for top attacking talent to bolster Andoni Iraola's squad.
