We've compiled the full list of Ligue 2 champions since the division reverted to a one-league format in 1993.
Inaugurated in the 1933/34 season, Ligue 2 adopted a two-group format between 1970 and 1993 where the 36 participating teams would be divided into two groups of 18.
The division reverted to a single-league format for the 1993/94 campaign and it has remained that way since, with the Ligue 2 champions winning promotion into Ligue 1.
Since 1993, Nancy and Metz have won the most Ligue 2 titles with three successes each.
Since 1933, a total of 42 teams have been crowned champions of Ligue 2.
