Crystal Palace have lost just three of their last 15 games in all competitions and have one defeat in their last nine in the Premier League, meaning that they should head to Leicester City full of confidence.
The same cannot be said of the Foxes, who are on a run of five league losses in a row coming into this game at the King Power Stadium.
Crystal Palace to win - 10/11
Palace had a disappointing start to this season after their impressive end to the 2023/24 campaign, but since their 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest in mid-October they have looked much more like the team that finished tenth last term.
Back-to-back defeats to Arsenal in league and cup aside, the Eagles have only lost one of their last 13 matches in all competitions and in that run they have secured wins over Tottenham, Aston Villa and Brighton and also picked up draws against Manchester City, Chelsea and Newcastle.
That level of form is far superior to anything that Leicester have shown this season.
The newly-promoted side have replaced Steve Cooper with Ruud van Nistelrooy, but there has not been a notable upturn in their results, they have lost eight of their last 10 league games.
A confidence-boosting 6-2 win over QPR in the FA Cup at the weekend will have been welcomed, but Palace are a major step up on those opponents and the hosts could struggle to make the jump.
They have conceded the second-most goals in the league (44) and will also be without their star goalkeeper Mads Hermansen for this game as he recovers from injury.
These two teams met earlier in the season and Leicester managed to hold Palace to a 2-2 draw, but the Eagles won the shot count 20-9 that day and are playing much better now than they were then.
Oliver Glasner’s team have already beaten the other two promoted sides Ipswich and Southampton this season and they look a solid selection to make it all three against Leicester.
Eberechi Eze to score at anytime - 9/4
Eberechi Eze has been one of the most underperforming finishers in the Premier League this season, scoring twice from an expected goals figure of 4.5.
However, the England international does have two goals in his last three games in all competitions, so could be turning a corner with regards to his finishing.
He may also line up against Leicester’s James Justin, who has struggled defensively since his return to the top-flight.
Against one of the leakiest defences in the division side with Eze to get on the scoresheet.
Boubakary Soumare to be shown a card - 15/8
Leicester are one of the most carded teams in the Premier League and Boubakary Soumare is a major contributor to their total.
The 25-year-old is the most booked player in the top-flight this season, having been carded eight times already.
He has been cautioned in five of his last six league games and looks a tempting price to land in the referee’s notebook once more as his side face a busy Palace midfield.
