Leicester City defender Jannik Vestergaard looks set to leave the club this summer.
Vestergaard joined Leicester from Southampton in August 2021 for a fee of £15 million.
The Danish international struggled in the East Midlands and he featured just 10 times for the club in the 2021/22 season.
He then found himself frozen out by Brendan Rodgers in the following season as the club were relegated from the Premier League.
He was then a regular in the 2023/24 campaign as Leicester secured promotion the Championship at the first attempt.
However, the last two campaigns have not gone to plan for both Vestergaard and the club.
Leicester have suffered back-to-back relegations and are now preparing for life in League One despite winning the Premier League title just a decade ago.
Vestergaard has a year remaining on his contract at the King Power Stadium but the Telegraph have reported that both parties are in discussions regarding an early termination of the deal.
The 33-year-old is one of the club's highest earners and Leicester are keen to reinvest his salary elsewhere.
A move would also make sense for a player who has represented the club in Europe and now faces the prospect of playing in the third-tier.
