We have priced up Leeds United as the 11/10 favourites to bounce back from their play-off final defeat and win promotion from the Championship in 2024/25.
(Odds will display when the markets are available)
Leeds came up short in the Championship play-off final on Sunday afternoon as Adam Armstrong's first-half strike sealed promotion for Southampton, while Leeds were condemned to another season in the second tier.
Daniel Farke's men came close to an equaliser seven minutes from time when substitute Dan James's superb effort rebounded off the crossbar.
However, it was otherwise an afternoon where Leeds struggled to create clear-cut chances as they were frustrated by a well-organised Southampton side.
Despite ending the season with a mammoth 90 points, it wasn't enough for Leeds to gain automatic promotion and they couldn't seize the second opportunity provided by the play-offs.
Their chances of going one better in 2024/25 very much depend on whether Farke can keep hold of a number of key players who may be looking for Premier League football elsewhere.
Ethan Ampadu has been one of the standout performers in the Championship this season, while the likes of Wilfried Gnonto and Archie Gray appear destined to play at a higher level.
As well as being favourites to be promoted from the Championship in 2024/25, Leeds United are also the favourites to win the league at 4/1.
