League Two Title Run-In & Odds: Remaining fixtures for Stockport County, Mansfield Town & Wrexham

The 2023/24 League Two season has delivered a multitude of unexpected twists and there's likely to be plenty more before the campaign concludes.

We've taken a look at the run-in for the teams that are still in League Two title contention.

EFL League Two

League Two table

  1. Stockport

  1. Wrexham

  1. Mansfield

  1. MK Dons

Stockport County fixtures

  • Morecambe (H) - 13 April, 15:00
  • Notts County (A) - 16 April, 19:45
  • Accrington Stanley (H) - 20 April, 15:00
  • Wrexham (A) - 27 April, 15:00

Five straight wins have moved Stockport four points clear at the summit and next up is an encounter with play-off chasing Morecambe.

Dave Challinor's side will be encouraged by Notts County's woeful home form in their penultimate away fixture and Accrington Stanley will be the final opposition to visit Edgeley Park this term.

Last, and by no means least, is a tussle with Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground, although both sides will be hopeful that they've wrapped up promotion by then.

Mansfield Town fixtures

  • MK Dons (A) - 13 April, 15:00
  • Accrington Stanley (H) - 16 April, 19:45
  • Gillingham (H) - 20 April, 15:00
  • Barrow (A) - 27 April, 15:00

After defeat against Crawley Town on Saturday, Mansfield returned to winning ways against Forest Green.

A difficult trip to Milton Keynes follows and it's a game will have a huge impact on the automatic promotion picture, with Mike Williamson's side in hot pursuit.

Two more matches at the One Call Stadium follow as Accrington Stanley and Gillingham make the journey to Nottinghamshire, before Nigel Clough's side round off the regular season in Cumbria as they face a Barrow outfit who are currently sitting pretty in 6th.

Wrexham fixtures

  • Forest Green (H) - 13 April, 15:00
  • Crewe (A) - 20 April, 15:00
  • Stockport County (H) - 27 April, 15:00

Phil Parkinson's men still have some tricky fixtures to negotiate if they're to secure automatic promotion, with encounters against two of the current top seven.

Basement side Forest Green are next to visit the Racecourse before a local derby against Crewe Alexandra at Gresty Road, with Lee Bell's team harbouring promotion aspirations of their own.

The Red Dragons finish the season off with the visit of league leaders Stockport.

MK Dons fixtures

  • Mansfield Town (H) - 13 April. 15:00
  • Harrogate Town (A) - 20 April, 15:00
  • Sutton United (H) - 27 April, 15:00

Although they have played a match more than Mansfield Town, MK Dons are still in the hunt for a top three finish.

A crucial home fixture with promotion rivals Mansfield is next up and if the Dons are to have any chance of securing automatic promotion, a win is imperative.

Their final away game will see them travel to Harrogate before they round off the regular season with the visit of Sutton United, who have flourished under Steve Morison and given themselves every chance of survival.
