There are plenty of week six LCS Summer Split match-ups to keep an eye on as teams like Evil Geniuses and 100 Thieves look to keep hold of their current top two seeding spots.
Several teams have plenty of big matches still to be played, with the likes of FlyQuest and Team Liquid hoping to keep pace with EG and 100 Thieves with the playoffs quickly approaching.
FlyQuest will have to be ready in a big clash against Cloud9, while 100 Thieves cannot overlook last place Dignitas. All teams will be trying to avoid any bad losses moving forward, and Evil Geniuses will be looking to bounce back when they take on Immortals.

Seeding is everything as week six of eight begins for FlyQuest and Cloud9, as the teams meet in a head-to-head setting. Cloud9 currently sits a game back of third place at 6-5 in LCS Summer. FlyQuest currently holds a tie-breaking place of third against Team Liquid.
Things are really heating up right in the middle pack of teams all fighting to have the best possible seeding come the playoffs. A win in this head-to-head meeting could all but decide the third-place team.
EG and 100 Thieves look to have the top two seeds, but FlyQuest and Cloud9 aren't that far away.
FlyQuest has built some confidence having won two straight matches. The team's worst loss so far came against TSM, who are currently second to last at 3-8.
As for Cloud9, they already have one head-to-head defeat against FlyQuest. It doesn't help their current cause lately when they tied with the Golden Guardians.
What | Dignitas v 100 Thieves, LCS Summer |
Where | USA |
When | 17:30, Saturday 30th July 2022 |
How to watch | LCS Youtube & Twitch channels |
Odds | Dignitas 10/3, 100 Thieves 1/5 |
If Dignitas come out quickly they might have a small window of opportunity against 100 Thieves, who have been nearly unbeatable in their last four matches.
Dignitas have struggled but fortunately hold victories over TSM and Immortals. 100 Thieves' worst loss was against Cloud9, who currently sit in the top five with a 6-5 record.
Three straight victories for the Thieves gives them plenty of confidence moving forward and it doesn't hurt that they have been very strong when it comes to getting first blood.
That should be a major factor in what may well be a very one-sided victory for the 100 Thieves. The recent win over current points leader Evil Geniuses caught the eye and, factoring in the recent stretch run by Abbedagge, it looks like 100 Thieves are set to maintain their recent fine form.
What | Evil Geniuses v Immortals, LCS Summer |
Where | USA |
When | 20:30, Saturday 30th July 2022 |
How to watch | LCS Youtube & Twitch channels |
Odds | Evil Geniuses 1/5, Immortals 10/3 |
It would be far too easy to say Evil Geniuses stand a better chance of winning very easily against Immortals. However, EG really struggled to end week five, including blowing a golden opportunity in a head-to-head with 100 Thieves.
Immortals were able to pick up a much-needed win against TSM in their previous match, which moved them on to a 3-8 record while securing a head-to-head victory over a team that they are tied with in the process. It also means Immortals hold the final playoff spot in LCS Summer.
Now they must turn their focus completely to finding a way to knock-off the top dogs. EG are a little vulnerable after losing against the Thieves but will likely be coming out very angry, and that could make a huge difference in this match-up.
Immortals do have four head-to-head wins in the last 14 meetings to suggest they have the ability to upset the odds when at their best.
The most recent Immortals win came during Week 3 of LCS 2022 Spring, while EG have won the last two meetings, including during Week 2 of this event.
Jojopyun could really make the difference in this match as he has been the driving force behind EG's run and even thoug Immortals have been spoilers before, Evil Geniuses are surely too powerful and are likely to get back on track.
