An Adam Marusic own goal handed Cristian Chivu's side the lead, and Argentine centre forward Lautaro Martínez doubled their advantage in the 34th minute of the game.
Bologna won their first Coppa Italia since 1974 when defeating AC Milan 1-0 in the 2024/25 final, with Dan Ndoye's right-footed strike seeing his team over the line.
Other final goalscorers in more recent years include Dusan Vlahovic, Nico Gonzalez and Ivan Perisic, while former Juventus star and current Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa sneaks onto the list with the winning goal in the Old Lady's 2020/21 triumph over Atalanta.
