Langer Dan Odds: Skelton horse 3/1 to win the bet365 Select Hurdle

Langer Dan is 3/1 to continue his strong form and win the bet365 Select Hurdle at the bet365 Jump Finale on Saturday.

It has been a remarkable few weeks for the Skelton yard and Langer Dan has been one of the stars who has spearheaded their Jump Trainers' Championship bid.

The eight-year-old was having a largely indifferent campaign heading into this year's Cheltenham Festival, finishing comfortably off the pace in his three completed races and being pulled up in the other.

But a return to Prestbury Park brought out the best in him as he became the first horse in history to win the Coral Cup for a second time.

The Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle three weeks ago was certainly a step up in class as Langer Dan took on the likes of Impaire Et Passe and Bob Olinger, but the 18/1 shot produced an incredible performance to finish an extremely narrow third to his two rivals.

Langer Dan will once again take on Impaire Et Passe on Saturday afternoon but his last two performances have been throroughly impressive and he could run the Willie Mullins star close again.
