Barcelona may be running away with the La Liga title, but there’s still plenty to be decided in Spain’s top flight with some potentially pivotal fixtures on Saturday.
The race for Champions League qualification and the relegation scrap take centre stage to start the weekend and we’ve put together a 7/1 fourfold from the day’s fixtures.

What | Real Sociedad v Girona |
Where | Reale Arena, San Sebastián |
When | 13:00, Saturday 13th May |

Odds | Real Sociedad 8/13, Draw 3/1, Girona 9/2 |
A return of ten points from their last four games has helped fourth-placed Real Sociedad open up a seven-point gap on the chasing pack in the race for Champions League qualification and they need to keep adding to their tally with some tough fixtures to come.
The Basque club still have to play Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in the final month of the season so a clash against an injury-hit Girona looks an excellent opportunity to pick up maximum points.
Girona have surprised everyone this season. A run of four wins in five matches, including a famous victory over Real Madrid, currently has them in a Europa Conference League spot.
But the injuries are starting to mount for Michel’s side and their form on the road has been a little patchy, losing half of their away league matches.
Sociedad have won their last four at home, most recently beating Real Madrid 2-0, and can complete a league double over Girona at 8/13, having won the reverse fixture 5-3.
What | Osasuna v Almeria |
Where | Estadio El Sadar, Pamplona |
When | 15:15, Saturday 13th May |
How to watch | bet365 European Soccer Live Streaming Highlights, Viaplay Sports Online & LaLigaTV |
Odds | Osasuna 21/20, Draw 5/2, Almeria 13/5 |
Osasuna need to pick themselves up from last weekend’s Copa del Rey final defeat and look vulnerable for the visit of Almeria.
The cup has been the be-all and end-all for the Pamplona outfit for several weeks, to the detriment of their league form and they head into this fixture having won only three of their last ten matches.
Osasuna could sneak into a European spot but appear to be running out of steam and have failed to win half of their home La Liga fixtures this season.
Even just a point would be huge for Almeria, who are edging closer to safety after winning two of their last three matches.
However, they are still only two points above the drop zone so can’t take anything for granted, and they look worth supporting to pick up a positive result at 8/11 in Double Chance.
They’ve struggled to pick up points on the road this year but did recently win at Getafe, while performing with credit on trips to Real and Atletico Madrid.

What | Villarreal v Athletic Bilbao |
Where | Estadio de la Ceramica, Villarreal |
When | 17:30, Saturday 13th May |
How to watch | bet365 European Soccer Live Streaming Highlights, Viaplay Sports Online & LaLigaTV |
Odds | Villarreal 11/10, Draw 13/5, Bilbao 23/10 |
A first Champions League campaign in seven seasons is looking increasingly unlikely for Villarreal after slipping seven points adrift of Sociedad in fourth and there’s no guarantee they can improve their chances with a win over Bilbao.
The Yellow Submarine are unbeaten in three games, winning their last two at El Madrigal, but have failed to win their last eight meetings against Bilbao and have been prone to the odd slip at home recently.
Bilbao are chasing a European spot and are accomplished travellers, stringing together a five-game unbeaten away run.
However, recent performances have fallen below the standard Ernesto Valverde has come to expect, failing to win their last three and scoring just once in that run.
Athletic haven’t conceded more than one goal in their last 11 matches and goals could be hard to come by at Villarreal, with under 2.5 goals priced at 10/11.
What | Real Madrid v Getafe |
Where | Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid |
When | 20:00, Saturday 13th May |
How to watch | bet365 European Soccer Live Streaming Highlights, Viaplay Sports Online & LaLigaTV |
Odds | Real Madrid 8/15, draw 16/5, Getafe 5/1 |
Sandwiched in between the two legs of their Champions League semi-final against Manchester City, Real Madrid could be forgiven for overlooking a home clash with a struggling Getafe side.
But with Atletico having jumped above Los Blancos in the standings, there is still something riding on this game, and the champions will be expecting a maximum haul at 8/15.
And while Carlo Ancelotti is likely to rest some of his big guns ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Manchester, the team he sends out should be good enough to do a job against Getafe, particularly at the Bernabeu, where Real have won 14 of their last 20 league fixtures.
Fellow Madrilenos Getafe currently reside in the relegation zone, despite ending a six-game winless run with victory over Celta Vigo last time out.
Getafe have found the going tough away from home all season, losing their last three on the road and are unlikely to buck that trend at the Bernabeu, having failed to score in their last nine meetings with Real.
