La Liga Saturday Accumulator: Atletico Madrid set to star in 25/1 four-fold

Atletico Madrid are the big name playing in La Liga on Saturday as they welcome Valencia to the Metropolitano in a clash between the two titans of Spanish football.

Diego Simeone's side currently lie third in the table and although a title tilt looks unlikely at this stage, a nine-match unbeaten run has given them a decent-looking cushion in the race for the top four.

Valencia travel to the capital on the back of two wins from three which halted an eight-match winless run.

Elsewhere, only two points separate 19th-place Almeria and 16th-place Cadiz with the former hosting the latter and hoping to jump out of the relegation zone with three points.

Out-of-form Rayo Vallecano will hope to boost their European chances with a win against Girona, while Espanyol are hoping to clamber further clear of the bottom three when they face Celta Vigo.

Saturday four-fold acca:

The following La Liga four-fold accumulator is priced @ 25/1:

Atletico Madrid to beat Valencia @ 11/20

Celta Vigo to beat Espanyol @ 31/20

Everything in this game is pointing to an Atletico Madrid win. They are third in the table while Valencia currently languish in 17th, only outside of the relegation zone by virtue of goal difference.

Los Che are one of the fallen giants in Spain and they face a huge task to get a victory at Atlei, considering they have failed to win away from home since the start of October.

The 2-1 win at Osasuna was their only win on the road all season. Meanwhile, the home side have lost only three times on their own patch in the league all season - once each to El Clasico duo Barcelona and Real Madrid as well as European hopefuls Villarreal.

This one may be a case of how big the winning margin is rather than who wins but a victory for Atletico can be backed at 11/20.

OddsEspanyol 7/4, Draw 9/4, Celta Vigo 31/20

Espanyol lie in 15th heading into the weekend but are very much in a relegation battle along with a lot of teams in the bottom half.

They have managed to win only two of their past seven games and could end the weekend in the bottom three if results do not go their way.

They have only managed to win three of 12 home matches so far this season and welcome a Celta Vigo side who have proven very tough to beat recently with only one loss in seven games.

Three clean sheets in a row have been kept in wins against Valladolid and Rayo Vallecano, along with a goalless draw versus Osasuna.

Espanyol can take some encouragement from their previous record against Celta Vigo, not losing in their last three matches but Carlos Carvalhal has enjoyed a good spell at Vigo since taking over in November and his side may add further pressure on Espanyol. A win for the visitors is available at 31/20.

Almeria to overcome Cadiz in battle of the strugglers

Almeria are desperate to avoid relegation and prolong their stay in La Liga after earning promotion from the Segunda Division last season and three points against Cadiz could be vital.

The two sides played out a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture back in December but now Almeria have home advantage and they have excelled on their own patch - reflected in the betting where they are 1/1 to win.

Looking at the results, 22 of their 25 points this season have been collected at home with seven wins and a draw - if their away form was matched up then they could have been battling for the European places.

That should stand them in good stead against a Cadiz team who are winless in their last four trips. Although they have achieved some good results at home, they have tended to struggle otherwise.

The final contest in La Liga on Saturday sees Rayo Vallecano take on Girona in a battle between seventh and 12th in the Spanish top flight.

Even though the former are seventh in the table, their form suggests they are one of the poorest teams in the division, not winning any of their last five games and only scoring twice in the process.

Girona have lost five of their last eight games and the reverse fixture was also a draw, ending 2-2. The same result is 12/5.
