Three years after beating Logan Paul, YouTuber KSI returns to the ring in another boxing crossover event as he prepares to face Swarmz at London's O2 Arena.
With both Logan and brother Jake enjoying so much stardom and attention, KSI will hope to get a piece of the pie when he laces the gloves for a second time on 27th August.
What: | KSI v Swarmz |
Where: | O2 Arena, London |
When: | Approx 22:00, Saturday 27th August 2022 |
How to watch: | Live on DAZN |
The fight is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 27th August 2022.
The main card is set to start at 19:00, while the main event ring walks should get underway around 22:00. These timings may change, depending on the length of the undercard fights.
The O2 Arena in London will host this month's fight, and another big crowd is expected to cram inside the iconic venue on the River Thames.
KSI's bout with Swarmz will be available around the world on DAZN and on DAZN PPV in the United States. UK subscribers will get the chance to watch the fight for a fee of £11.99.
No belts will be on the line at the O2 Arena, with neither fighter established enough in the professional ranks.
Unlike Jake Paul, who could have earned a world ranking earlier this year, KSI is only fighting for the second time.
His win over Logan Paul in 2019 could have kickstarted his career, and he will now get another chance to shine on the big stage.
British rapper Swarmz is known for his ability in a recording booth or as a semi-professional footballer, but he claims he has what it takes to hand KSI his first loss.
KSI's record is a perfect one from one, with a split decision win over Logan Paul the only bout on his CV.
The two fighters squared off in an amateur boxing bout and could not be separated in a majority draw. They then faced each other under professional rules, with KSI winning via split decision thanks to scorecards of 56-55 and 57-54.
He was originally set to fight Alex Wassabi, but the American's withdrawal means Swarmz has stepped in at late notice to try and make a name for himself.
There is every chance KSI is using this fight as a launchpad to face Jake Paul, in what could be one of the biggest events in entertainment history.
Newcomer Swarmz will be doing all he can to thwart those plans and he has already suggested that he will take the fight to KSI from the first bell.
Several "social media influencers" will make their boxing debuts at the O2 Arena, with KSI hoping to give others the chance to make the headlines.
Streamer, content creator and co-owner of FaZe Clan, Faze Temper faces Slim Albaher at light heavyweight, while Deji tackles Fousey at the same weight.
Gamer Faze Sensei will start his career against King Kenny at a catchweight, while Sam Hyde will come up against IAMTHMPSN at heavyweight.
Salt Papi squares off against Andy Wrski, while Deen TheGreat will hope to get the better of Evil Hero.
