We analyse the credentials of YouTube sensation KSI and Tommy Fury as the pair get set to contest one of the biggest exhibition bouts in boxing history at Manchester's AO Arena in October.
On Saturday 14th October the energy, madness and chaos of Misfits Boxing delivers one of its biggest events yet when YouTuber and rapper KSI defends his Misfits cruiserweight belt against pro boxer Tommy Fury.
The fight, which will take place over six rounds, has been months in the making, with the pair trading verbal insults as well as a fiery in-ring confrontation following KSI's controversial bout with Joe Fournier last year.
Throw in the small matter of their press conference, which descended into chaos with pushing, shoving and table-flipping, prematurely ending their heated pre-fight to and throw in London, and it all makes for an enthralling night of Misfits action in Manchester.

KSI (real name Olajide Olatunji) has arguably become the biggest star of crossover/influencer boxing.
Like so many others involved in Misfits Boxing and similar entities the 30-year-old started off life on YouTube before going on to create his own empire worth millions of pounds.
His boxing career began in February 2018 at the former 2012 Olympic venue Copper Box in London where he defeated Joe Weller in three rounds.
Full of life, enthusiasm, and hard work the extrovert character gives training his all and so far, it’s paying off for him.
A combustible rivalry with American star Logan Paul resulted in a draw in Manchester six months after beating Weller. KSI and Paul would renew hostilities 15 months later in a professional contest in Los Angeles where headguards were no more and the Brit triumphed on points.
KSI is also carving out a music career for himself which has included the successful single 'Not Over Yet' featuring Tom Grennan, which gave KSI his eighth top 10 hit.
In the boxing ring he has aligned himself with Misfits and racked up three straight knockouts against (music star) Brandon ‘Swarmz’ Scott (crossover boxer), Luis Alcaraz Pineda and (YouTuber) Thomas Oliveira before seeing a fourth KO win against Joe Fournier being overturned and declared a No Contest after KSI was found to have thrown an illegal blow resulting in the knockout.
The greatest test of KSI’s boxing credentials comes against pro boxer Tommy Fury on October 14th at the AO Arena in Manchester.

The boxing career of Tommy Fury may still only be in its infancy, but his celebrity status has thrown him into an unforgiving spotlight where fight fans haven’t warmed to the talents of Tyson Fury’s younger half-brother.
In October 2018 Tommy signed with hall of fame promoter Frank Warren joining the team at Queensberry Promotions.
His first two fights came against opponents with a combined win-loss-draw record of 10-128-5. A spot on the Josh Warrington-Carl Frampton undercard in his debut gave him the kind of exposure that those without a famous surname would do anything for.
Two fights, two wins and Fury then departed the scene for more time in front of the camera, but this time on ITV2 dating reality show Love Island.
With his fame now crossing over to the mainstream the Mancunian was known more for his exploits on the show than in a boxing ring.
More slots on BT Sport on big fight nights continued, but after eight professional bouts the opponent record read won 24, lost 176 and drawn 5.
Fury was then drawn into a war of words with Jake Paul which brought the two together for a duel in the desert over eight rounds at Diriyah Arena.
The scrappy contest exposed the limited abilities of both men, but Fury won the day recording a split decision win.
His life as a reality star got going again in Netflix series 'At Home With The Furys', and his time as a crossover boxing star continues on October 14th against KSI.
