We analyse the profiles and credentials of Karriss Artingstall and Raven Chapman as the British featherweight pair prepare to battle it out at the Royal Albert Hall in March 2025.
Female boxing in 2025 could mark the end of eras and the beginning of new ones.
Katie Taylor and Natasha Jonas, for example, have helped drive their sport to new heights but their careers are well into the final stretch.
On 7th March 2025 at the Royal Albert Hall, an all-female card will showcase the old and the new with Lauren Price and Caroline Dubois looking to stake their claim as the next superstar.
On a stellar undercard Karriss Artingstall and Raven Chapman have been matched together in a must-see bout which could see the British featherweight title up for grabs.
But who wins? Let’s look at the Tale of the Tape.

Winning isn’t enough for Karriss Artingstall, even the prize of an Olympic bronze medal wasn’t enough for the former member of the Royal Horse Artillery at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
Artingstall’s quest for perfection won’t be fulfilled until she holds all four world titles at 126lbs.
The 30-year-old partner of Olympic champion and WBA welterweight champion Lauren Price – who fights on the same card as Artingstall – was left dissatisfied with her Olympic medal such is her desire to be the best.
The Macclesfield fighter will therefore have been frustrated at her lack of ring activity in 2024 but injury is one opponent that always wins.
Beginning 2025 against former world title challenger Raven Chapman is therefore the perfect way to get back to business and remind everyone why she was so highly thought of in the first place.
It won’t be easy, however, against her tenacious opponent who will bring the fight to Artingstall and meet her in the middle of the ring.
Both their styles should complement one another and create a thrilling fight that is in favour of Artingstall if she can keep her cool and box to a plan.

Raven Chapman had been on a collision course with two fighters from early on in her career.
Skye Nicolson and Karriss Artingstall were always within sight and it was a case of when these fights would happen, not if.
Beating her first nine opponents with something to spare brought her to Riyadh last October and a shot at Nicolson and her WBC featherweight world title.
Nicolson’s ring IQ and defensive skillset frustrated Chapman, however, and produced a performance that left the challenger disappointed.
Against Artingstall she will, at least, know that her unbeaten opponent won’t be on the back foot looking to make her miss and then pay. This fight will click and then erupt which will be of great benefit to Chapman.
In the fast-paced world of women’s boxing fought over 10x2 minute rounds, it is vital that Chapman makes her mark early. But in a fight as well matched as this it could simply come down to wants it more in the championship rounds.
