Jon Rahm remained coy about his future with LIV Golf when asked by media ahead of this week's Amgen Irish Open.
A two-time winner, Rahm is set to return to the Irish Open for the first time since setting a tournament record score en route to victory at Lahinch in 2019.
However, while the attentions of the golfing world turn to Doonbeg for the 71st edition, Rahm once again found himself facing questions relating to the seemingly tenuous future of LIV Golf.
The future of the upstart tour has been thrown into doubt following the news that the Saudi Public Investment Fund - which had bankrolled LIV's aggressive expansion since its inception in 2021 - would withdraw funding.
The likes of Patrick Reed and Brooks Koepka have returned to the PGA Tour after defecting, and Rahm was asked this week whether he would consider doing the same in light of the uncertainty surrounding LIV.
"To be fair for us people that joined LIV, I'm pretty good at dealing with turbulence," Rahm told BBC Sport.
The LIV team championship event scheduled for Detroit was cancelled earlier this summer and reports have emerged of employees being laid off as the tour attempts to secure financial viability ahead of a prospective 2027 season.
Asked directly about a potential route back to the PGA the 31-year-old refused to rule out the possibility.
"Yes and no, it hasn't really changed from my last interview in Indianapolis a few weeks ago," he added.
"And there's just a lot of things in place, right? There's a lot of things that could happen and it's one of those things where time's gonna tell."
Rahm is priced at 10/1 to win a third Irish Open this week, with defending champion Rory McIlroy the current favourite at 6/1.
Should Rahm emerge victorious he would become just the fifth man ever to win the tournament on three occasions, after Sir Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie and his compatriot Seve Ballesteros.
