Joining Liverpool from Charlton in 2015, Gomez has enjoyed a decorated spell at Anfield - winning six major honours in his time at the club.

An extremely versatile defender, Gomez has turned out at centre-back, right-back and left-back during his Liverpool career.

Gomez made 32 Premier League appearances for Liverpool last term, most commonly at left-back as he deputised for Andy Robertson in his injury absence.

His assured performances in the 2024/25 campaign earned Gomez a call-up to Gareth Southgate's Euros squad in Germany.

Despite his status as a dependable squad player at Anfield, 27-year-old Gomez appears lower down the pecking order under new Liverpool manager Arne Slot, prompting speculation regarding his future.
